LAKE SUPERIOR CIRCLE
FEBRUARY 12th – 25th

Do you have a Snowmobile Bucket List?  Is there by any chance an item listed :  RIDE AROUND LAKE SUPERIOR?  If you said yes – do we have the ultimate tour for you.  In 2011 Decker Tours will take a select group of “beelers” around the Great Lake. 

We’ll start from Two Harbors, Minnesota on Saturday February 12th.

Daily mileage will be from 120 to 200 miles per day and we’ll allow two weeks to complete the ride.  Good snow, smooth trails, nice weather......and we can make the trip in less days.  Below is a map that shows the route and the names of the towns that we expect to use for overnight stops.  This is not your typical tour.  It can be judged, a true winter adventure.  The trip will demand competent snowmobilers and dependable, well maintained machines.

It will cost you $695.00 to “sign on” this ride.  If we go the entire 14 days, that averages out to be $50.00 a day.  For that $50.00 a day you will have the services of at least three support people, two, on-the-trail guides and a truck driver, a support truck and trailer that will carry your luggage and spare parts, gas and oil, spare sleds in the event of an unfixable breakdown, and the logistics work of the Decker Tour office.  YOU WILL BE ON YOUR OWN FOR MEALS, LODGING, GAS & OIL FOR YOUR MACHINE, NECESSARY TRAIL PERMITS, ANY REPAIRS, AND ANY ITEMS OF PERSONAL NATURE.

Space will be limited.  Our intent is to keep the group relatively small in the interest of progress and flexibility.
